3D photo frame

This was pretty simple to make. It's a 3D card that you can make for any occasion.  I choose primary colors for my paper (4) cut them to 4x6, then cut an inch from the edges for the interior.  With the scrap left over - you will need about 2 inches then fold that into three and used that as my 'connector' for the layers for an according effect on the sides.  I then found these really cute pictures of my niece trying a piece of food that she didn't like - and the face pics are hilarious. 

Cotton Candy

This was another easy and quick layout to make with two pictures.  I just miscellaneous scrap paper that I really never know what to do with and I never want to throw it out so here is a simple solution - same applies for the letters and a few left over stickers!  I also used Lil' Monsters paper by Nikki Sivilis collection.

Pop and Me Garden Time

This is a cute layout I also have a video of her talking to Pop about what he is planting here, question after question from the fasionista.  I used Nikkie Sivilis You're a Hoot Owl-Ville paper, Kaisercraft Wooden Flourishes Tulips which I stamped to have a few shades of color, Tattered Angels Candy Apple Red - splattered all over.  I also used my new heat gun and burned the edges of the paper and distressed with embossing ink.

M&M Theifs

So these pictures are from our first family vacay (I'm told it's now pronounced that way) with my brother and his family (Sara being the new one here!~).  We went to New Jersey and when we would leave our hotel to go to the Boardwalk the girls would always stop at the M&M machine to see if they could get chocolate - if you notice I also can't count - my instructions are hilarious - but I forgot a number along the way!  In this layout I used KI Memories Lagoon calendar, Nikki Sivilis paper and scraps to make the little ribbonettes!

Our new addition

This is the new addition to our huge family  - Kylie!!!

This is a shadow box layout - although not actually in the shadow box yet! I created it figuring she can just clip new pics as Kylie grows bigger with my teeny little clothes pins.  I used K&Co brads, Prima Flowers of course, Basic Gray Lucille paper, random ribbon and a few stickers on the bottom that I just love!  I really enjoyed making this really cute present for our new addition!

Sand & Sun with Pop

Sand and Sun with Pop - I finally got my dad in a few pictures.  He never goes to the beach - never did with my brother and I and then wow - 2 grand-daughters show up and he's on the beach - playing in the sand with them!  My brother and I was like - WHAT!!! we can't believe it!!! that's messed up dad!  I tried to create some sand in this layout with teeney beads that I have in gold, silver and clear.

Christmas Layouts

Here are a few layouts I made at the weekend getaway crop this weekend!

 In this layout I used Kaisercraft Turtle Dove Collection paper and cut out the tags from the collection sheet.  Prima Flowers - Fleurs de Prima,  Say it in Crystals, Stickles - Star Dust, Petaloo Flora Doodles, Floral embillies.

 In this Layout 'Christmas Day Nap' I used Kaisercraft Turtle Dove Collection from the LE Kit from My Creative Scrapbook   monthly kit club. I also used my stash this weekend alot to get rid of stuff - Jenni Bowlin Buttons, Prima Flowers, Nikki Sivilis Get Well Soon papers.

In this layout Kaisercraft Turtle Dove Collection papers, Prima Flowers, very simple layout I have a tremendous amounts of pictures that I took from Christmas day so I just wanted to have simple layouts that the background had the theme I wanted to express with tons of pictures of the holiday!

Super Star Layout

this was a page layout kit I won at one of the crops.  It was for the 4th of July but I thought I can use it for the family Super Star!  Here she is in the bath tub - all bearded up with suds - her favorite thing in the world - more suds please!!!

Scrap weekend finally here

So glad I'm finally away for an entire weekend of Scrapbooking. I also double booked the weekend with a class on Sunday. So far I'm behind I only made 4 pages since I arrived at noon. I will post some pictures of my basic two dimensional to three dimensional pages in a bit - just need to get a better photo of them.

Another quick and easy layout to make.  In this layout I used Prima Marketing flowers, pins, butterfly - overload with them lately!!Dusty Attic Fence, Basic Grey paper, tattered Angels Candy Apple Red spray, Whispers Glitter Embossing Power and Tim Holtz distress ink.

My Better Half

Here is my BFF as I'm known as by my niece - in her favorite activity Cheerleading!!! 

This was a really simple layout to make - rip the paper, roll the paper, distressed it by using the Ingvlid Bloome tool, tons of Prima Flowers, Bazzil thickers (my better 1/2),K&Co Wild Saffron Tag, random ribbon, Whispers Embossing Glitter, Tim Holtz distress ink and Melissa Frances 1962 Embellishment Frames.

Happy New Year everyone!  

I've been so very busy with family, parties and tons of food!! 

I hope you have all been busy with the same and enjoying this great time of year!! 

I do apologize for not scrapping about anything since Thanksgiving but I'm extremely busy this time of year with tons of family events to go to and tons of food to be eaten!!  

Enjoy the family and friends and laughter this time I year I know I do!  Have a happy and healthy new year! 

I have tons of pictures to scrap and will be going away in January for an entire weekend to scrap them, I can't wait!

Thanksgiving turkey project

This is a really cute kids project to do on a cold day. Pine cones Popsicle sticks construction paper hot glue gun and we used real grass instead of twine.

I've updated my 2012 layout page to include better pictures of my work from this past weekend's getaway.  You can see them up closer and much better.  I really enjoyed my time this past weekend working in the classes with Carrie from Prima Marketing.  She is a really great instructor, easy to work with, not at any particular pace and has a tremendous sense of humor!  If you every have the chance to take her classes I suggest you do so, it will be so much fun!
