Been busy lately...

I've been a bit under the weather lately and haven't been in the mood to scrapbook in a while - as you can tell from my last post being in August! I've got a ton of work to do for sure! I started with these Halloween candy or pencil holders I created for my co-worker's son's class. I began with a manilla folder and cut the folder down to 4 inches and then cut it again to 2 inches wide - as you can see some are shorter than others as the paper cutter at work doesn't work like the one I have at home!!! I used my Quick Quotes Chalk Inks, stamps I found at AC Moore in the dollar bin!

Olivia the Queen

My God Daughter Olivia enjoying the piers. She wanted to go under the pier so I walked all the way over there and you can only go so far - so she said take my picture to show everybody I was hanging out with the cool kids! FYI - we were the only ones under the pier.

She Is...

I've been busy reading and traveling so I haven't had time to scrap but I'm planning on it shortly. I need a week of scrapping to even catch up to last year's events. So with that said, here is a quick layout I made tonight of my niece.

Journey

Ah the younger days! This is the family in NJ on vacay! In this layout I used Prima flowers, Quick Quotes paper, cardstock solids and twine.

Kate & Pop

I tried using the technique I learned from Invild Bolme from Prima in this layout so it's a bit odd, but I tried. I used Prima Products for this entire layout, Crate Paper again and the new line of Shappy Chic from Prima Marketing.

Our Family

Here is the family that went to the tree cutting ceremony when they picked the tree for Rockefeller Center. I used Martha Steward Butterfly punch, Bella Blvd. sticker and ribbon from Two Chicks.

How Lovely

This is Kate and Pop at the local yearly riverfront festival. She made him get on the strawberry spinner and he almost got sick! The paper collection is from Crate paper. I actually cut out the strawberry like 'old school' scrapbooking!

Fabulous Kate

I used my Crate Paper stash for this layout, random riboon, rik rak black rhinestones and from the $1 bin at ACMoore the fabulous rhinestone.

Apple of My Eye..

Here is my niece Kate when she was younger, possibly 2 ish on her tricycle watching TV - isn't that the correct way to watch TV?? I used Bella Blvd papers, Crate Paper, Prima flowers and twine.

Happy....

Here is a quick layout I made last night with my Aunt Dotty and my wonderful cousin Tori at my birthday party - they look like they are up to no good - both of them right! I used new Prima flowers, glitter chipboard letters, AC Paper, Crate paper. I shredded some of the edges and folded, rolled and inked the ripped edges and cut out one of the flowers from the paper.

Fiona

My father's dog Fiona.. What a character. This was her getting up on my lap outside because she wanted to be included in the conversation as always! Such a girl! In this layout I used Crate Paper, Prima flowers, random left over chipboard letters (I really need to start using my circuit more!) and Basic Grey buttons.
