These are some of the Artist Trading Cards ("ATC") that I received from my Facebook Group: Girls,  Giggles, Glitter and Glue.

My Goddaughters Communion

This is the communion card I made for my God Daughter Olivia.  I purchased the whitest white card stock I could find at Joann Fabrics.  I had a template I found for a dress online.  I then asked my father to cut out 20 of then for me!  He loves doing this - I actually have no patience for the little cuts I just get so frustrated so quickly.

 

I then used my cuttlebug template and machine to press the tiny flowers into the dress.  I added the silver cross that I purchased in Joann's for 3.00 for 10 in a bag.  I then purchased the ribbon of flowers to add to the bottom and I think that was around 4 dollars as I purchased 4 feet just in case I needed extra.

Canvas project

Here is a canvas project I started last week.  The size is 8x8.  I used Tim Holtz paper and floral paper I had laying in the scrap pile.  I then used Mod Podge and started gluing it all together.  I added a chipboard subway tile and painted it white but not too much paint so it looked worn and old.  I added some flowers and bling,  a little Prima shabby chic little flying guy, a metal key for the door and the door.  The door is from Michael's miniature section, it's a bit curved so I had to use several layers of pop dots to keep it on.  I also have a plastic twig at the bottom.  When I use little flowers I tend to cut the green stem made of metal off and then just glue the flowers where I want them.  I then take the green stem metal and wrap it around my tweezers and make it look like a vine.  You can see it closer in the 5th picture below by the door.

 

 

Croppers Delight My Favorite Things Event

This past weekend I attended the annual My Favorite Things crop with Croppers Delight-NYC.  This is my second time attending.  I love these ladies they are amazing and provide for a fun filled weekend of scrapping and just plain old fun.  I created a little less than I planned on but at least I still created a few layouts and 2 tags.  I planned on 12 layouts and 8-10 tags.  I had my list of my layouts a bit more organized but then I lost the list in the packing up part of the day.  I usually keep a notebook of everything I use in my layouts but I think my niece took my notebook!

Packing for a crop

I'm attending a weekend crop next week 

called My Favorite Things with the group Croppers Delight NYC.  This will be my 2nd time going! I'm very excited not just to have 3 full days of crafting but to see friends I haven't seen in a year, talk, gossip and have just a great time. At this crop the group leaders Susue and Meryld have fab giveaways throughout the entire weekend - their favorite things! Last year I received like 20 things I was shocked! I still need to finish printing pictures for my layouts. I'm planning on doing at least 20 layouts and about 10 tags. It's a big and hopeful plan - I bet it's gonna be more like 10 layouts and 4 tags!
