Kate Crane Designs
I recently came across a designer located in the UK. Her name is Kate Crane and I just love her artwork. It is a mix of mixed media, Dylusions / Dyan Reavely artwork, steampunk and just plain fun. It makes you get back to the basic and finger paint if you want or use utensils but I tried it with my fingers and loved it. She has courses you can take for very little money and techniques you learn are just amazing. Here are a few of my recent creations. I'm using Dylusions paint, Martha Stewart paints, white Posca pen, black in on a water bottle cap to make the circles and a few of my planner stamps. I added a few circles with modeling paste for a 3D effect.

Mini album
This is a mini album that I created using the templates from Jen of Eve Designs. You can find her group on Facebook. This is before the pen and extra emphera added later.
The papers are Authentique Paper, Blue Fern Studios, Prima Marketing
Lawn Fawn Card Exchange
I am a member of a private facebook group for Lawn Fawn fanatics. These stamps and die cuts are so stinkin cute. I just started buying a few sets and love everyone so far!! It's my new addiction. I'm not really a stamper or a card maker but now I think I'm going to add this to my scrapbooking habits!
I took a 4x6 watercolor paper taped it to the desk with painters tape and used Gelatos and then a baby wipe to smooth the colors together. I like the background to look like the summer sky. I then used white paint and made some splatter marks to looks like the stars. I then added my stamp set dies of the aliens and their ships. I used Crayola Color pencils instead of copic markers.
I'm mailing this to a member of the swap I hope she likes it!

Folded Card
Today during quarantine I created a folded card from 3 pieces of paper. I cut 3 pieces of paper 6x6. Then I folded them in half, turned it and folded it in half again to get the score lines. I then glued all three together on a diagonal. This was a fun project and easy to do.

Stuffed Envelope
I started to create a stuffed envelope to mail to my nieces during this worldwide quarantine. This was so easy to make. I took a 12x12 piece of paper and scored it at 4 and 8 and then moved the paper to the other side and scored it at 4 and then folded it up. I'm going to put paper pads and pencils, markers and highlighters in these for my nieces to use at home - since they can't go to school.

Mini File Folder booklet
I created small mini file folder from card stock template from Scrapbooking with Me on YouTube. in the shape of normal size file folders. I choose to alternate the colors for my nieces school colors. I scored about 1/4 inch apart from the center of the file folder. I didn’t want it too wide but wide enough to have a bunch of emphera in the pages.I created a small booklet cover for the front and back.

Annual Craft Fair
I am a vendor at an annual local high school craft fair to sell my photography. This is one of my other hobbies besides crafting. I love to get out of the house and tired from the office ‘cage’ so I go on a ‘hunt’ for birds of prey or beautiful landscapes my total stress reliever!

Here is a picture of my booth.

Lawn Fawn mini cards
I made the cutest little cards using the Lawn Fawn apple stamp and glossy accents on top. This took me about one hour to cut the apples and I colored them with Prima markers. I ripped some sparkly washi tape on the edge. Cute little cards.

Holiday Cards using Simple Stories
I created 8 cards from Simple Stories for Christmas today. I was on a four hour conference call and I was so bored I said I will create the cards while watching the presentations. These came in a kit with fabulous instructions.

Sakura Koi watercolor paints
Testing out new watercolor paints tonight while watching Chicago Med, Fire and PD. Sakura Koi watercolors are very pigmented and blend well on paper. I tested it out on a 5x7 price of paper that has peek a boo doors from the Hero Arts press collection.

Mini Booklet
I created a mini book with a cascading 3 1/4 size envelopes to hold my ATC trading coins for a swap I joined. This was so much fun to make. It probably took me about 1 hour or so and made one dry run to see if I liked it.
You will need a paper trimmer, a score board, tons of patience, scissors, solid paper, color paper of your choice. Some people have made this brown paper cardboard background so that you can create 3x3 individual colorful backgrounds.
I first cut the booklet binding11 inches across by 3 inches in length
Each floral piece below is 3X3 which makes cutting paper the same size for 4 pieces.
Each floral piece below is 3X3 which makes cutting paper the same size for 4 pieces.
Each pocket is 7 inches by 3 3/4 size
Score at 1/2 inch and 3 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch on the bottom
fold the paper at 3 1/4 inches to create the pocket.
I choose to use one patterned piece of paper instead of making them all blue. I liked this paper line from Scarlet Lime / Planner Society monthly kits.

Mini Scrapbook
It’s snowing here in Pennsylvania and I was watching Pixie Hill Studio on you tube and she made these really cute miniature scrapbook. I downloaded the printable and created one with very limited supplies. I used a cut piece of card board box for the covers and I only had white card stock and she made these with black card stock. I also didn’t have an ink dobber with me so I made it a bit messy antique looking. The theme is Fairies. Enjoy!!
