Mini Booklet

I created a mini book with a cascading 3 1/4 size envelopes to hold my ATC trading coins for a swap I joined. This was so much fun to make.   It probably took me about 1 hour or so and made one dry run to see if I liked it.

You will need a paper trimmer, a score board, tons of patience, scissors, solid paper, color paper of your choice.  Some people have made this brown paper cardboard background so that you can create 3x3 individual colorful backgrounds.

I first cut the booklet binding11 inches across by 3 inches in length

Each floral piece below is 3X3 which makes cutting paper the same size for 4 pieces.

Each pocket is 7 inches by 3 3/4 size
Score at 1/2 inch and 3 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch on the bottom
fold the paper at 3 1/4 inches to create the pocket.
I choose to use one patterned piece of paper instead of making them all blue.  I liked this paper line from Scarlet Lime / Planner Society monthly kits.

Mini Scrapbook

It’s snowing here in Pennsylvania and I was watching Pixie Hill Studio on you tube and she made these really cute miniature scrapbook. I downloaded the printable and created one with very limited supplies. I used a cut piece of card board box for the covers and I only had white card stock and she made these with black card stock. I also didn’t have an ink dobber with me so I made it a bit messy antique looking. The theme is Fairies.  Enjoy!!

(Backup) Halloween inspired Zombie photo shoot

I went to Stone crop gardens with my camera club for a fall themed photo session and I had zombie miniatures and decided to bring them along. This place had amazing stone gardens and a ton of moss and beautiful flowers still in bloom. This was so much fun to take miniatures and then I edited them to black and white for the total zombie effeHere are some pictures of the zombies...

Happie Scrappie Planner Monthly Kit arrived!

I have a few monthly kits that I love and one is the Happie Scrappie kit. This is mostly used for my Kate Spade planner because it’s the perfect size and I write down so many to-do’s that I used this kit so much for! Here are some pictures of this months kit.

Card Swap

I joined a few groups in Facebook. Some are strictly planner related and some are artistic like James Luke Burke creative outlet and one group is a mix of fun ladies and altered projects. This month I joined a swap called 2-2-2 cards 2 fall cards 2 Thanksgiving day cards and 2 Halloween cards. Now I’m not really a card person I have always been a scrapbooker at heart and loved mixed media but mostly for scrapbooking but I try to create cards here and there so this is what I created for my swap.

Daily Birding from my Front yard

Everyday I put my feeder out with wild bird seed in the middle and I break a suet in half and split it on both sides of the feeder. Lately I have had around 6 pm a Pileated Woodpecker stop by and eat the suet. This is a really huge woodpecker and swoops I’m so fast I tried to catch him in flight. Here are some of those shots...

March planner designs

My Marion Smith Planner's theme for this week - March 1-6 I decided to go with a Pirate theme because I'm always getting pirated off track of my plans.  Something always comes up so I'm trying as much as possible to stick to my planned events.  These are stickers I purchased in the dollar tree store and washi tape is from MAMBI.

My MAMBI Happy Planner clips from SweetPaperBliss Etsy Shopt

the coffee cup is from Rhinestones and Diamonds Etsy Shop
the Instagram paper clip is from Vintage Rose Shack Etsy Shop
the washi is from MAMBI I purchased at Michaels.

My Kate Spade Planner contains items my friends made me from my Scrpabooking group.  She made the Cheerleader and the Pig - my favorite animal!  The dress clip comes from this months Planner Society kit along with the washi tape, gems.
