Manila Folder altered project

I'm had a meetup with my friends this weekend and I'm going to have them make this altered Manila folder.

You open the Manila folder to the landscape position then fold the bottom of the Manila folder up 4 or 5 inches depending on what you want the size of the pocket.  Then fold each side of the folder in half but fold it forward then in reverse so it folds correctly - like an accordion folder.

Make your tags any size so they stick out of the pockets. I used a template with molding paste then once dried I inked the paste so it wasn't so white.  Decorate how ever you please!!  Enjoy!!

My Kate Spade Planner for February

This is my Kate Spade Planner for this month.  I used stickers from The Planner Society, Heidi Swapp stickers, from her planner collection I picked up at Michaels and paper clips from Sweet Paper Bliss shop on Etsy, the starbucks paper clip is from isis_ella_jewels off of Instagram.

The Documented Life Planner Project for 2016

I jointed Art to the 5th The Documented Life Planner Project for 2016.  It's called the unplanner.  It seems like a great project to do - on top of all the other projects I have going on at the moment.  Why not add another.  This looks like a fun way to add art into the planner project as I'm not an 'artist' with paints/watercolor, etc.

Planner charm bracelets

I made a few planner charms for my upcoming holiday ornament swap.  All products I purchased from Michaels and one site from eBay.  Making them were a bit tedious but I did this while waiting for The Walking Dead to come on in Sinday night.  I hope they enjoy these!!

Listers Gotta List Challenge

I joined The Reset Girl's Listers Gotta List challenge in October and I'm just starting the list for November.  I love doing this for October and finished all but 4 of the prompts.  It was so much fun to have something each day to do, if you want daily.  I liked that I could use the 'scraps' from kits that I have not used in a while and the chipboard that I don't use on my scrapbook layouts these days.  It's a great way to recycle your stash and also be creative at the same time.

Here are some of my images from October's Lister's Gotta List Challenge.

Christmas Ornament Swap

I made these ornaments for my swap buddies. The globe snow and ribbon I purchased at Michaels. The Angel I purchased at AC Moore. I sprayed gold glimmer most in the inside then dabbed it to create a foiled / antique effect.

Fall Folliage Pictures

Went for a fabulous 4 mile walk today.  The place is called the Walkway Over the Hudson located in Poughkeepsie NY.  The weather was a bit of an overcast and I wore a hat and an infinity scarf with a light jacket but the pictures and colors of the trees were absolutely amazing.

Pocket letter swap

Some of my friends from the Croppers Delight Scrapbooking group will be meeting at the Scrapbook Expo convention this weekend and we decided to do a Pocket Letter exchange.  We picked one person in the group and was required to make 2 pocket letters for that one person.  I also made one for each of the other girls for a total of 9.  These are 7 that I made for the other girls.

I know they all like butterflies so I purchased this paper from Michaels, then I added Shimmerz Dazzlerz in Tutti Fruitti with a grid type of layout.

This was my inspiration for the colors for these pocket letters.

I added the Prima Marketing Dolls stamp - currently 'undressed'

These are mini bracelet or necklace charms that I wanted to add to the front of the pocket letters

here are the 7 maids in a row all dazzeled up with glimmer mist, glossy accents, Stickles

I wanted to add a 3D effect to the back side as well so I punched out butterflies and added them diagonally

This is the completed front page of the pocket letter.  I also added a tassel that they can remove and add to their key chains or purse if they want to.

Here is the back page filled with goodies.  I have some Teresa Collins wood letters in the middle that I left uncolored as well so they can fancy it up if they'd like to.  I added paper clips in shapes of hearts, arrows and some have ribbon on them.  I also have wood shapes that are half colored with chalk and posts it flags that everyone can use at some point.

My latest addiction....Planners

Recently I ordered Marion Smiths planner because I loved the teal color with gold. It can be used all year long in my opinion. So I started researching what people do with their planners and how they organize them and fell in love with a few styles I found on Pinterest and Facebook. Paper and Glam; The Planner Society and The Reset Girl. They really have fab styles and are very creative!!

Here is my first monthly kit from the Planner Society
