Bee Creative has the best adhesives. The make and take was using the Noir markers their like Copic so I had to try it.

This is Melissa Frances booth. The make and take was $1 donation to cancer.  We used the new chalk powder and mixed it with paint and then used the heat gun to dry it.  We also received a resin piece to add to the tag later.

Scrapbook Expo Convention This weekend!

I can't wait to go this weekends Scrapbook Expo convention and see some new tools and purchase a few necessary items.  I'm really looking forward to it.  I don't normally attend conventions as it's very overwhelming - that is because I want everything I see!  This time I made a plan of action and have a list of items that I want to get:  I definitely need a few of the Julie Nutting stamps; Graphic 45 papers and I'm hoping that someone will be selling the scrap easel.

I'm taking just one class that interested me it was the Cool Tools - I want to see what is new tools this year and possibly learn a new technique or two.

So many vendors and this is a small event - I've mapped out a plan of the vendors that I definitely want to get to: 

I'm sure I will run into a few members from my fav meetup.com group - The Croppers Delight NYC - sporting either a T-Shirt of Hoodie - representing!!!  What a fab group of people I met for the first time last year - the kind of people that you just love to hang out with for a weekend away!

Boxycharm box just arrived!!

The theme for this month's box is Fashion Week Fabulous!!! All items this month were full size - not samples - FABULOUS!!! I received tarte LipSurgence Lip gloss; Coastal Scents Go Palette London; NCLA Nail Lacquer Catwalk Queen; Tarina Tarantino Fleur de Lash Mascara; Hello by Harvey Prince perfume - it smells sooo good - like when you get out of the shower fresh scent.  I also received a coupon for 20% off of Tarte products and a coupon or Just for You from My Name Necklace - personalized jewelry.

Glossybox just arrived

New Project in the works....

From my monthly Swirlydoos kit "Wistful Blues" the last two months I received a Prima Marketing wooden box with little adorable fairies and resin items - so I took them out and started decorating the 4 little inserts.  I also used my Prima Marketing paper Princess Collection Ava, BlueFern's Ombre's Dreams - Joyce & Ginger papers, wire mess that I wrapped the little flowers around, Prima flowers of course and the little Prima Angle from the kit.  I just altered items for some reason - I guess it gives me some boundaries of what can fit in a little box instead of a blank piece of paper that is limitless!  It restricts me to only using some of my stash!!

Ipsy bag arrived today

This months bag consists of a cute little polka dot bag to carry stuff in, Urban Decay Perversion mascara, Flying solo eye shadow in Half Naked, StriVectin antioxidant defense lotion, Jersey Shore Sun Mongongo lip conditioner, Manna sheer glo shimmer lotion. 

Boxycharm just arrived today

Today I came home to one Christmas present - yes I start Christmas shopping in August as we have way to many kids to buy for and a little here and there helps instead of one big dip in the savings!!  My Boxycharm arrived today as well.  The theme is Beach Babe - In the fab box was Enter Pronoun BLOWTORCH bronzer - this is a bronzer that brushes onto the skin in water-resistant powder, creating a matte, natural sun-kissed appearance. August Birchbox arrived

My monthly Birchbox arrived today.  This month's box contains amika; Perk up Dry shampoo; Dr. Jart+; Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm; NAOBAY; Body Radiance Lotion; Noir Cosmetics; Long-Wear Eyeliner and Benefit Costmetics; It's Potent! Eye Cream samples.  I really liked the Benefit eye cream samples and Dr. Jart+ is always a great product.

Tags for a boy's birthday

I don't normally have a lot of scrapbooking supplies for boys as all my scrapbooking is around 2 girls, so it was a great time to get rid of those stickers and stuff that I will not use in scrapbooking that I've had lying around in the bin since I started scrapbooking years ago.  When I began scrapbooking over 8 years ago it was mostly just stickers and 3D stickers - nothing like it is today - so advanced.  It is great to look back at my first scrapbook and think how I would do it differently today.  These tags where for a 6 y/o boys birthday.  I inked the edges, created round little turtle heads as the present was all Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles - I used my circle punch and then just cut out the different color eye masks and added the googlie eyes - too cute.  This little guy loves the beach, playing in the sand and in the park on the slide.

Just got back from vacay and my Ipsy bag arrived. This months bag is a really pretty pink soft leather tote - I'm going to use it as a purse!

Duck Dynasty Cruise vacation

Last October my parents told me there was a cruise with the Duck dynasty show - so I purchased the tickets for Christmas for them and man what an awesome time we all had!

Our room was on the same floor as them, you ran into them everywhere and they were very approachable and didn't mind taking pictures, the cruise good was aaqesome and the shows were great as well.  I would to it again for sure!  Here is a picture of our picture we took with them!  I cropped it and have tons on my Nixon that I need to download and create a slide show !!  There is also a picture from them on stage. We went from Mismi Florida to Key West then Cozumel, Mexico.  I also took a water taxi to Playa deal Carmen and went cave diving - the one good picture I purchased is on a DVD I need to also download.

Boxycharm box arrived today

I just got back from vacation with my nieces and I came home to one package from Boxycharm.  This monthly makeup subscription is $21 buckaroos!! It's a bit more than my 2 other subscriptions.  This month I received tarte cheeks stain, Tarina Taratino eye dream hyperliner and eye dream hyper light, Strangebeautiful nail polish, Revlon bold lacquer mascara.

X-Acto supplies

I have been searching local crafts stores for these awesome templates that X-Acti makes to create tags.  I ended up ordering it online and got two packages of templates.

New book - Julie Nutting

I just received a new book I ordered by Julie Nutting called Collage Couture Studio Paper dolls - a Designs, collage cut and play!!

It's all about tips and tricks for using her stamps and collages! I can't wait to read it and re-create some if her work!

New phone cases arrived

Today I'm working from home watching my one niece and my father made her help with the mail today! She is 3 years old and carried my 3 packages to me. I opened the first one and said my phone cases arrived. She said oh you got me a new phone case and took it, ran from me and got her iPod and put it in the new phone case! Gotta love 3 year olds!!

My Miniature project....

I just started getting my 'parts' together for my Mini TV that I purchased from Ingvild Bolme's / Prima Marketing Junkyard Findings collection.

I really liked this old fashioned bike that I can add to the 'scene'

here is a picture of some of the mini items - a bird cage, a fairy sitting, a bird's nest, a wooden bridge, a little sign. The box behind them is the actual TV - that's how huge it is - can't wait to get a few more mini items and start decorating....

Ipsy monthly subscription

I am a member to a monthly makeup sample subscription with Ipsy.  This month I received some fab samples: Urban Decay Eyeliner, fake eye lashes, Cailyn lipstick - love this bottle, LolliTint lip gloss, City Color White gold eye shadow.  The package this comes in is a bright hot pink bubble wrap and they always send this actual items in a fancy bag.
